The Graduate Studies Office (GSO) administers graduate student records related to admissions, student records, awards, and convocation and provides academic support for the Associate Provost, Graduate Studies.
The GSO publishes the Organization of Graduate Studies document which provides information about the overall structure of Graduate Studies including responsibilities and governing structure.
The Faculties of (Applied Health Sciences, Arts, Engineering, Environment, Mathematics and Science) oversee the activites of their departments and are represented by their administrative officers.
Each graduate student is enrolled in an academic department which is responsibile for the activities of his or her supervisor. The department also ensures that all students are informed on academic, financial or other matters pertinent to their studies. The department Graduate Officer is the official respresentative of the departments to its graduate students.
The Graduate Student Association represents graduate students on campus, advocates concerns and issues to University administrators and external agencies, communicates to students the impact of University regulations, and manages the operations of the Graduate House.
